First int’l tea festival to be held in Thái Nguyên

The first International Tea Festival will take place in the Northern province of Thái Nguyên from November 12-15.

The event is expected to promote the Vietnamese tea values and trademarks locally and globally, provide a playing field for local tea enterprises to share experience with international partners, and enhance business and production of Vietnamese tea.

Thái Nguyên ranks the second in Việt Nam in terms of tea cultivation area and output.

So far, Thái Nguyên tea is famous nationwide for its quality and special taste like Tân Cương, La Bằng, and Tức Tranh and has been available in nine foreign countries.
